Thanks for making this column a part of your golfing day.
Last week I mentioned my junior golf and high school golf camps. So here is the schedule and tuition for the week long camps.
The Golf Professor’s Junior Golf Camp (Ages 7-14) runs the week of July 25th thru the 29th. This is a half-day camp starting at 9am every morning and ending at noon. The tuition for the camp is only $50 per day per student. PGA instruction, range balls, practice notes, beverages and lunch are included in the tuition fee. Pay for all five days before the camp starts for only $200. Space is limited to 10 students per day. I suggest you sign-up early. Call ILGC Golf Shop at 814-754-5601 to register.
The Golf Professor’s High School Golf Camp (9th – 12th grade) runs the week of August 1st thru the 5th. This is a full-day camp starting at 9am every morning and ending at 3pm. The tuition for the camp is only $150 per day per student. PGA instruction, video printout of golf swing, range balls, practice notes, beverages and lunch are included in the tuition fee. Golf is optional for all students who wish to play after the daily session. Space is limited to 8 students per day so I suggest you sign-up early. Call ILGC Golf Shop at 814-754-5601 to register.
Many thanks to the following sponsors who are supporting the Golf Professor with my high school programs this season. This season’s featured sponsor is Harbaugh Trucking, Rockwood, PA. Also, thanks to Hilltop Office Supply, Windber, PA and Somerset Trust Company. Dear readers, please support them when the need for their services arises.
Clinic Schedule: Long game clinics on Tuesday July 12th at Indian Lake Golf Club beginning at 1pm and short game clinics on Thursday July 13th at Piney Run GC at 11:30 am and then at Middlecreek GC at 1:30pm. The fee this year is only $5 per adult student for the hour clinic. There is no age limit at the clinics but space is limited.
Stay tuned next week for the upcoming and exciting new junior and high school golf camp schedule for July and August.
